Subjects Subtest 1 - Lang., Lit., History & SoSci.
9–9:10am Arrival and
check-in. Please remember to bring your receipt
and photo ID. These 2 items are required for
admission.
9:10-12:30pm Lecture
presentation on Language and Literature. Reading,
language, linguistics, written/non-written communication as well
as poetry and prose texts will each be reviewed in detail.
Test strategies and tips for both Multiple Choice and
Constructed Response language/literature questions
will also be covered.
12:30-1pm Question and
answer period for CSET Language and Literature.
1-2pm Break.
2-5:20pm Lecture
presentation on CSET History and Social Science. World, US
and California history, as well as geography, economics,
political and social science will each be reviewed in
detail. Test strategies and tips for both Multiple Choice and
Constructed Response history/social science questions will also be covered.
5:20-5:50pm Question and
answer period for CSET History and Social Science.
5:50-6pm Closing
summary and review of how to maximize your score using the info
learned in today’s class.
